Reading, magic, and Witches in the forest… together.
This retreat was born out of the mutual desire to be together and just spend time reading the books we love and then talking about them with each other over a delicious meal. The idea continued to evolve out of our longing to get away from the day to day of our lives. And because we are Witches, rituals, teachings and magic got woven into the dream of what a perfect Witches Reading Retreat would be.
So my dearest Witch, you are invited to leave the muggle world behind, gather your sacred books, your altar items, a hefty journal and some soft layers and come to the enchanted forest of Idyllwild for 4 lush and magic filled days.

What Is NOT Included
- Transportation to and from the retreat location is not included in the cost of the retreat.
- Books are not included, so you will be asked to bring 2-4 books that you’re inspired to spend time reading over the course of our time together.
Location
Idyllwild, California is conveniently located within a short drive (2 hours or less) of most locations in Southern California. At an elevation of 5,300 feet in the San Jacinto mountains and surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest, it is about 50 miles west of the Palm Springs Airport (PSP), 69 miles southeast of the Ontario Airport (ONT), and 120 miles east of the Los Angeles Airport (LAX). More detailed directions along with the retreat address will be sent out in an email closer to the actual retreat.
Witches Gather
Together we will be weaving a restful mindful communal space. We gather as a way to calibrate to one another in this intention and to share the joy of being with Witches in the same space, living in a rhythm that honors rest, learning and ritual practice together.
Lodging
There is space for 11 people. For safety precautions during Covid, please read section below. There are only 2 rooms for a single person. The Shared King room is good for couples or good friends that feel comfortable sharing a bed and we have 3 of those. The bunkbed room fits 4 people. This is great for a group of friend or those that are comfortable sharing a room with potential strangers – hostel style only much nicer!

A Note On Covid
It is important that everyone feel safe and comfortable while we gather in a home together for 4 days. In the state of California, as of February 15, 2022 masks are no longer mandated for the vaccinated, but they are for the unvaccinated. Before gathering with a group of people Antigen tests are required to insure that no one is infected before engaging with a new group of people.
If, prior to attending the retreat, you test positive for Covid you will not be able to attend.
Registration is not refundable, but it is transferrable and someone else can come in your stead.

Financial Details
Please NOTE that this is a non refundable investment. Due to the advanced reservations needed to procure space and a cook, your investment cannot be refunded. Your investment is transferrable, however. This means, that if for some reason you can not attend, you can find someone willing to buy your place at the retreat and attend instead of you.
